Industry Specific Insurance Benefits

ABT is here to protect your beauty, hair, nail, and complementary therapy business, whether you work from home, mobile or salon location covering you for up to 2000 different treatments. We will cover you for up to £6 million as standard, protecting you for medical malpractice, treatment risk, professional indemnity, public and product liability which are all provided by Newline Syndicate 1218 at Lloyd’s.
Public Liability
Public liability insurance will help protect your business if a claim is made against you or if something happens at work that results in injury to a customer, a member of the public or damage to someone's property.
Product Liability
Product liability insurance provides coverage if your product or service causes injury to a client. This cover is automatically extended to retailing of products up to £30,000 turnover.
Claims Occurring
All our packages are claims occurring which we feel is the gold standard of insurance. A claims occurring policy covers claims that occur during the policy period irrespective of when the claim is made.
Professional Indemnity
Designed to cover you for costs you might face if your work or advice causes clients to suffer a loss either reputationally or financially.
Treatment Risk
As with medical malpractice insurance, this is specifically designed by our brokers and partners at Newline Syndicate 1218 at Lloyd’s to allow the products to be more industry specific for our membership.
Medical Malpractice
This insurance coverage helps to protect our members against clients who attempt to take legal action with a claim that they were injured by the therapist or clinicians’ harmful treatment.

Aesthetics Specific Insurance Benefits

Aesthetics specific insurance benefits are in addition to the industry specific insurance benefits as mentioned with the cover taken for basic beauty, hair, nail and complementary therapies. We will cover you through our aesthetics insurance and membership with cover for up to £4 million, which are all provided by Newline syndicate 1218 at Lloyd’s.
Public Liability
Public Liability Insurance will help protect your business if a claim is made against you or if something happens at work that results in injury to a customer, a member of the public or damage to someone property
Product Liability
Products liability insurance provides coverage if your product or service causes injury to a client.
Claims Made
A claims made policy covers claims that were made and reported during the policy's active period. For a policy to respond it must be in place at both the time of the incident and the claim.
Treatment Risk
As with medical malpractice insurance, this is specifically designed by our brokers and partners at Newline Syndicate 1218 at Lloyd’s to allow the products to be more industry specific for our membership.
Run Off Cover
If you cancel a policy or retire from the industry, you may want to purchase Run Off coverage to protect yourself against claims made later, for instance a claim during the policy period
