Associated Beauty Therapists Ltd (ABT) receive applications and updates to records via multiple sources including web, phone, email, portal and telephone. We will process your personal data and update to our secure internal systems thus allowing us to provide you with our services as your Insurance broker in quoting for, arranging and administering your insurances. Once systems are updated, and paperwork issued, outlining detail extracted, and after a cooling off period, in most cases original documents are safely destroyed where not required by law. We will not on every occasion keep original paperwork, original certificates or call transcripts of dealings unless the company deems appropriate to do so when all relevant data is transposed to a singular secure system. On no occasion will we hold your credit card details. We will provide detailed statement of fact documents in line with insurer requirements with each and every policy update to our clients, along with detailed notes and timelines of activity that summarise details collated. You can make a subject access request to find out: what personal information we hold about you; how we are using it; who we are sharing it with; and where we got your data from. We will not provide original copies of application forms (unless available), qualification certificates or similar (unless available). We will, wherever possible assist and provide more than required.

What information we collect and how
We collect personal details that you type in and submit such as your name, address, e-mail address, date of birth, lifestyle and other information; data that helps us to remember you, your interests and how you use this website. This saves you from re-keying information when you return to the site and helps us to provide website content to match your preferred interests. We use your data for insurance administration by the insurer, its associated companies and agents and by reinsurers.
